This is how you screen mirror a Samsung Galaxy S8 or s8 plus to a Samsung smart tv. Remember they call it smart view now not screen mirror! Samsung changed the screen mirroring name starting with the S6!

If you want to mirror these Galaxy phones to a NONsmart TV you have a tons of options like using chromecast, screenbeam mini2, Roku etc. you also have wired devices you can mirror with as well. There are pros and cons to all of them. I have a ton of videos on screen mirroring these phones on my channel. Some require a wifi network and other don't it's a direct connection.
