In this repair video we will continue working on the samsung galaxy S9 plus that was mailed in for no power. The S9+ does not power on and it does not charge. The phone also heats up allot when the charging cable is plugged in. The thermal camera reveals a big short on the charging area of the motherboard. In the previous video, we diagnosed the phone having a bad chip on the motherboard. We ordered the chip and today we will solder the ic back on the motherboard. Let's see how it goes.
