Halo 4 is the sixth game chronologically in the Halo franchise (seventh if you count Halo Wars) and the first to be developed by 343 Industries, released for the Xbox 360 in 2012, MCC for Xbox One in 2014 and MCC for PC in November 2020. In this game, Chief and Cortana explore the Forerunner installation of Requiem while fighting through a new Covenant faction and Promethean Knights, warriors of the Forerunner. Early on, Cortana starts malfunctioning and Chief promises to get her to Dr. Halsey. This is the second game in the series where the player can sprint, this time independent of armor abilities, which also return from Reach. New abilities include autosentry, hardlight shield, Promethean vision, regeneration field and the thruster pack. Also like past Halo games, you have access to a wide variety of weapons. Halo 4 is available as part of the Master Chief Collection on Xbox and Steam for $39.99 or for $9.99 separately on Steam.
