How To Extend The Range Of Your Wifi Router - Wifi Repeater

In this video, I will show you how to extend the range of your wifi router. I am using a Wifi Repeater to extend the range of my wifi router.

So for this specific video, I'm going to show you how to extend your wifi using this Wi-Fi repeater by a brand called Auitee. [00:01:00] I hope I said that correctly. So the one thing I really like about this specifically, a specific repeater is it doesn't have any antennas. Now the previous one I had was really good, but because of the antenna, my kids thought it was a toy of some sort. It was also a bit expensive. So I thought, you know, I should try something new. And that's also where the price of this thing comes in. This thing costs less than $20 US. $18 and 99 cents USD to be exact. It is also a little compact on the front. You will see four led lights. You have the power LED, the wireless signal LED. Next, the wifi protected setup or the WP S L E D. And the last one is the LAN L E D. You will also find the WPS button in front. On the side, you will see the ethernet port as well as the reset switch. I also think it has a small footprint. And you won't notice this once you plug it in. Now, speaking of plugging it [00:02:00] in, let me show you how to set this wifi extend.
They're using windows 10 now. I'm pretty sure it's the same as swell. If you use Mac book pro or whatever. All right, guys. Thanks for waiting. So I've plugged in the wifi repeater. Waiting for a couple of seconds, maybe even a minute or so then look for the SS ID that's named Wi-Fi dash repeater, underscore 39, A 8 connect to it.
See it says open. That means there's no passwords, so you can just connect to it right away. Connect. So once you're connected or connected. All right. So connect to it. Once you're connected, this should pop up something like this. I don't know where they got this from, but anyway, so once you're connected there, what you need to do is on the address bar it's like in one nine, [00:03:00] two, one six, eight.
One zero one. Alright. So one nine, two.one, six, eight.one, zero.one, then press enter. So it would actually lead you to this page here. So this is the wifi repeater admin page, I guess. So username is admin. Password is admin. So this is the first time that you set this up. The username is admin. The password is also admin.
So now you're in there. So this is where all the magic happens. There's only a couple of things I really click on. First would be the password settings. So this password setting is not for your wifi.
This is actually for you to get into this page right here to one 92, that one six eight one zero one. So I will remember I punched in admin [00:04:00] earlier as user name, admin as password. So you can always change this. I recommend changing that. Okay. All right. So admin, I'm just going to cancel, but like I said, you have to change that or else, you know, everyone now knows what your password is.
Okay. So go ahead. Change that username, change that password. That, so once you're connected, I mean, once you've changed the password. Naturally click on repeater wizard.
It's not as fast really, but should be good enough about 17 download. Should be it. Should be, it should be all right. And then upload is about 13, so not bad. I'm happy with it. All right. So now that I've showed you the long way, let me show you the [00:08:00] easiest way and your router, you have this. All right.
So something like this says, wifi protected set up. All right. So go ahead. What you need to do is plug this in first. Okay. So once that's plugged in, all the lights are off, go to your router and press this button there to WP S once you've pressed that button within two minutes, make sure that you go to your Wi-Fi repeater and click this button as well.
