This is how you factory reset / factory restore an Apple Watch. The watch used in the video is a fairly old Series 5 but the process is exactly the same on any Apple Watch.

*The video goes through:*

00:36 - How to factory restore and unbind / disconnect / unpair your Apple Watch from the phone it is currently paired with as well as how to remove the activation lock on the watch for it to be able to be connect to a new phone.

01:42 - How to remove the activation lock if you have already sold or given your Apple Watch away.

02:21 - How to reset your Apple Watch from within its own settings menu. As well as how to reset your Apple Watch without having access to the PIN / password / lock code. This approach will however not remove the activation lock.
