I recently bought a new laptop and the idiotic manufacturers partitioned the drive with a c drive of 80GB and the rest on a d drive. This video will show you the how to guide for a quick partition. Whilst this sounds like a reasonable plan, 80GB on c is almost impossible to work with especially on Windows 10. The Windows install is somewhere in the region of 70GB and some installs insist it goes on c drive. And nearly all installs need some space on c drive to allow temp files to work.

So as I said idiotic really, fortunately partitioning and repartitioning your hard drive is really really simple and is outlined in this video.

The one thing you have to make sure that you have done is backed up your d drive first and cleaned it as it will disappear.
