LINEAGE OS : FIRST BUILD by FevaX (Lineage) FOR SAMSUNG S5 & S7 + EDGE - LINKS + MANUAL - 2017

The Samsung Users are so spoiled by Lineage , after the S2 ,it was the S3 , then the S4 Mini , not even 2 hours later the S5 and Today , well early this morning a little baby was born again for the Samsung Family and it's for the latest S7 and Edge with the Exinos Processor , so others will have to wait a bit.

Of course you will have to be rooted and to get started you will first have to unlock your boot loader.
Ir sounds harder then it is , but after downloading the Samsung Drivers Tools and software to root and set a custom recovery , you will be updated in a way that would probably happen next year if no other delays come to the company Samsung.

Of course you will lose warranty and you are the only one that is responsible if anything goes wrong , so first study how to restore the phone to brand-new if anything would go wrong.

Backups you will have to make cause unlocking the boot loader will delete all info from the phone ..so make backups .

read the steps and follow them one by one.

As soon as I get a S7 in my hands I will show the complete process it's not that hard.

Root binary is inbuilt in Lineage OS 14.1, so you don’t need a separate SuperSu package to install to gain ROOT access. Here is How to Enable ROOT on Lineage OS 14.1
If there is no in-built ROOT or it does not work for some reason then you can try flashing SuperSU zip using recovery to gain ROOT access.

HOW TO INSTALL/DOWNLOAD/FLASH/UPDATE LINEAGE 14.1 FOR Galaxy S7 Edge NOUGAT CUSTOM ROM:

Follow this if you are flashing Lineage OS 14.1 for Galaxy S7 Edge (hero2lte) for the first time, or coming from another ROM:

Points to NOTE:
– Try to avoid restoring apps backup using Titanium Backup. It may break things up.
– Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup! It will definitely break the current installation.
– It is also discouraged to Restoring Apps + Data using Titanium Backup.

Download and Copy the GApps and Galaxy S7 Edge Lineage 14.1 ROM ZIP to your phone.
Boot into Recovery. Make sure to have a Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP or any other custom recovery. If not then follow the Custom Recovery Installation Guide for Galaxy S7 Edge (hero2lte) (it’s a generic guide which will work for TWRP as well as CWM recovery or any other recovery)
Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
– Here is a guide explaining how to wipe data using TWRP recovery.
This will delete all your data on your phone. You may consider complete backup of your phone data or take a NANDROID backup of the current ROM
