My First Desktop: Pandemic Remote Learning Needs Faster Computer Not Laptop Says Dad | Dell XPS 8930

This unboxing video is neither a product review nor a how-to's or DYI, but rather a personal vlog documenting a day or moments in my life for viewers who want to get to know me and what's happening around me from time to time.

The Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic has completely changed how schools, colleges and universities approach the academic year. Even though it is still in June, and the school year will not start until September 2020, my dad was concern about the shortage of computers if the entire education system in the United States would switch to remote, distance, online or virtual learning.

My dad tested both of my Dell laptops and according to him my laptops are too slow therefore he decided he should buy me a desktop. My dad has always use a desktop. He hates laptops. I have never owned a desktop before. I have always used a laptop so I wouldn't know what he meant by "faster". Prior to last year when my dad bought me a Dell Inspiron 15 5000, my laptops were handed me down from my brother Amirul, Fikri and Anisa. There was one time I bought my own Dell laptop using the money I saved up from youtube revenues but I gave it to my brother Fikri because his laptop broke and he didn't have any money to buy a new one.

My dad decided to order me the same exact desktop he owns, which is a Dell Studio XPS 8930 Tower. The specs will be listed down below. In the past, members of my family have owned computers and laptops with brands ranging from Toshiba, Hewlett Packet HP, Compaq, Sony and many others, but almost all of them own Dell now, with the exception of Kakak Amira who prefers Apple Mac.
