Samsung Galaxy M42 5G launched in India. It is a rebrand of the Galaxy A42 which launched in February this year. The device is ships with a waterdrop notch quad camera setup on the rear panel. The phone has in-display fingerprint sensor and integrated with the Knox security. Samsung Galaxy M42 5G comes with AMOLED display powered with Snapdragon 750G SoC and 48 MP camera out of the box. When we talks about the specifications Samsung Galaxy M42 5G featured with 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display. The phone has waterdrop notch which called Infinity-U display by the company.

On the processing front It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. Xiaomi and Moto has already launched some phone with Snapdragon 750G soc. Galaxy M42 5G has two Ram variant 6GB and 8GB, and both model has only 128GB storage support.

The Device runs on Android 11 OS with Samsung's trademark OneUI 3.1 custom skin on top. It has 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support out of the box.

For the photography front Samsung Galaxy M42 has a quad-camera with 48MP primary sensor with 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP depth and a 5MP macro sensor. Front side There 20MP selfie shooter available on the notch.

Connectivity segment include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C port.
