Samsung recently sent me a Samsung Galaxy S II on AT&T's network. Recently the Apple iPhone 4S was released and one of the key new features is support for a voice control application and service called Siri.

The Samsung Galaxy S II and the iPhone 4S are obviously going to be some of the key devices on the market this year, the iPhone 4S representing Apple and iOS while the Galaxy S II is representing Google and Android. Both have very competitive features involving many things including voice control.

Apple's iPhone 4S has one key feature called Siri that does everything relating to voice control while the Samsung Galaxy s II with Android has a lot of different applications that do very similar things. If you double tap the home button on the Galaxy S II you will be presented with a voice control application which I'm guessing is what Samsung wants you to use.

The Galaxy S II has a very limited set of voice control features but they also allow you to use speech to text in a very accurate way. The iPhone 4S is similar but they seem to have a lot more features and capabilities with Siri. Of course this is all bound to change as Google, Samsung, and Apple all work together to compete with each other.

The main purpose of this video is to show off how exactly voice control works on the Galaxy S II and on Android. You can then look for videos on the iPhone 4S and Siri to see how the two platforms compare when choosing one for your next phone.
