ok few fast tipps on the way...:



Load the Battery first fully!!





Install new Recovery:

The S4 is a arm 32Bit CPU ok......!!! checkt?!


Adroid to ADB Debugger on USB (good then)
Connect the fucking USB Cable


in Linux Terminal:
sudo apt update && sudo apt -y install adb heimdall

adb reboot download (wait your handy is in download modus booted)


cheick it in linux terminal:
sudo heimdall detect
sudo heimdall flash --RECOVERY twrp-3.4.0-0-jflte.img


the rest you make in the TWRP on the Handy..

Keep your file for the new OS on sdcard, ist best place...
Two files from lineageos:

lineage-17.1-20201029-nightly-jfltexx-signed.zip (OS)



in Linux Terminal:

adb reboot recovery





this is a very fast Explation...





TWRP Install new OS
-------------------------------------

Maybee you make a Backup, to sdcard, an take it to pc, then reboot to recovery

or (volume up+Power long pressing)





Keep your files for the new OS on sdcard, ist best place...
TWRP Install from zip:
Clean Dalvnik/System/DATA/Inside Storage/Cache



Then install from zip

 lineage-17.1-20201029-nightly-jfltexx-signed.zip

reboot automatic..



Go inside the new lineage OS, Settings, Storage, sdcard, use tranportable sdcard.


Download open_gapps-arm-10.0-pico-20201106.zip (PlayStore)





Restart by Hand back to TWRP ok... (Volume up and Power long pressing).

So just back in TWRP, install PlayStore





Playstore.::: Again install from zip


open_gapps-arm-10.0-pico-20201106.zip


it reboot automaticly, so enjoy your new handy... ok



root ist not needed for normal people

check if you have root.shell users really, ls -la show you



  otherwise chrgrp root.root only.

(the battery script you don't need, make your own stuff)
