how to enter / exit or enable disable safe mode on your Samsung Galaxy S5 device. You can use this to troubleshoot your android device app related issues. Safe mode is a method that allows the device to run without non-essential applications. This is beneficial for troubleshooting 3rd party applications.It basically puts your phone in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can test if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze/reset/run slow. It is just like putting a computer in safe mode. Basically all apps are turned off. So if you phone works good in safe mode then you probably have a installed app that is causing your phone to freeze, lockup, crash or run slow. This should be done first before any hard reset.
