Removing the back on the samsung galaxy s5 can be tricky at first. On the side of the device there should be a small crease that you can stick your finger nail into to pry it open. Be gentle taking it off so you don't crack the back. Once its off inserting or removing the battery is fairly easy and putting the back on is easy as well. Gently press down the backing to get it back on your galaxy s5.
