Contrary to early rumors, Samsung will not be launching the Galaxy Tab S10 series at July 10's Galaxy Unpacked event. A recent report from South Korean media outlet JoongAng suggests that mass production will begin this month, but the release window remains unspecified, likely set for the end of the year.

The report also reveals that the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup will consist of only two SKUs, scrapping the base Galaxy Tab S10 to better compete with Apple's newly-announced iPad Pros. This decision is part of Samsung's aggressive cost-cutting strategy, though it might be challenging as the Galaxy Tab S10+ was spotted running a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. Even if the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra uses the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, it will face stiff competition from the superior Apple M4.

Earlier leaks have identified two Samsung tablets, codenamed SM-X926 (likely the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra) and SM-X826 (Galaxy Tab S10+), undergoing certification. The renders of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra suggest minimal design changes, with improvements likely coming from new software features in One UI 6.1.1.

It seems the Galaxy Tab S9 will be the last of its kind, so grab one at a discounted rate on Amazon before stocks run out. Stay tuned for more updates on Samsung's latest tablet series!
