The Apple Watch has been out for only a few weeks and a security bug has already been discovered. According to a video published by iDownloadBlog, the Apple Watch's security can be circumvented by performing a factory reset that erases all of the device's data. The newly wiped Apple Watch can then be set up as a new device and paired with another iPhone. The Apple Watch is designed to automatically ask for a passcode when it detects it's no longer on a person's wrist. But the passcode security is useless against theft if anyone can easily erase all the data and reset the watch without needing to key the code in. The growing concern is that this "bug" is a problem that makes it easy for thieves to reset a stolen Apple Watch and then resell it.
