This laptop is very light weight, and has a 1TB SSD and an nVidia graphics card, so is useful for playing games as well as for general purposes. It's a lovely slim design. Recommended.

Only thing is that I would prefer the backlit keys to be white letters/numbers rather than orange-ish as during the day, they are easier to see. small issue, easy to live with.
Battery, not one of my laptops have ever done well with battery, this is not bad, but I mostly plug them in. I would buy it again. The rising hinge on the lid is fine, I dont find it an issue.
Overall, better than Tosh Better than Dell as good as HP all of which I have in my family and business.
Ive had my old Asus Zenbook for about 7 years, and despite upgrading the hard disk, it was beginning to show its age compared to newer products.
I like the solidity of an aluminium outer case, and this updated version gave me a bigger screen within a slightly smaller overall size. There are other options with Intel processors, touch screen etc, which I did not want.
Considered a MacBook like my wife has, but a similar spec would be double the cost of this Asus.
Performance is greatly improved from my old one; this was my first PC with an AMD chip, rather than Intel, and it seems to live up to the very positive technical reviews.
It took a while to re-install all my software and transfer data from my old PC, but someone starting from scratch could be using it as soon as the battery was fully charged and any Windows 10 updates loaded.
