Need to reset the password for your Apple ID account? Watch this video to find out how to reset your Apple ID password on an iOS device.

You can do this same process on your computer or on an iOS device like an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

To begin, open your web browser and go to https://appleid.apple.com. Then select Forgot Apple ID or Password. Now type in your Apple ID and click Continue. Enter your phone number, then hit Continue. A message will appear on your screen saying you can continue resetting your device. If you have multiple Apple devices on the same Apple ID, you may see this message appear on all of them, and not just the one you’re using. Select Allow. Enter the password you use to unlock your device. Now type in what you’d like your new Apple ID password to be. Your password needs to be at least 8 characters and include at least one number, an uppercase letter and a lowercase letter. Retype the password in the second text box, then tap Next in the top right corner.
