The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a micro usb port and you can use that to plug USB devices into it. With a USB On-The-Go cable (OTG), you can plug in flash drives, mice, keyboard, even games controllers.

In this video I experiment with a USB OTG cable and see what the Samsung Galaxy S4 can handle.

USB OTG cables are freely available from amazon, just search for USB OTG cable and you will find plenty at a couple of pounds or dollars.
