Acer Aspire 5 A515-55-378V, 15.6" Full HD Display, 10th Gen Intel Core i3-1005G1 Processor (Up to 3.4GHz), 4GB DDR4, 128GB NVMe SSD, WiFi 6, HD Webcam, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 in S Mode This is my first laptop. I wanted something to do my light work on and watch videos with no problem. This accomplished that however its get WAY too hot too fast while doing simple tasks like watching a movie or playing simple games like candy crush.
It gets unbearable hot at times and I just started using it yesterday. Its makes a little humming noise too but barely hear anything its just the extreme heat that comes up when watching long videos or playing light games I cant handle.
The battery life could have been better too. Only last 4 to 5 hrs with moderate use of web surfing and youtube. Other than that its fine. The camera and sound quality is what you get at this price, mainly okay.
The display is alright for me. Not bad.
Ive been using this the last 6 weeks and it has lived up to my high expectations. We are a 4 computer family and will be ordering this again. The colors are the best I have seen in an all around computer at this price point.
The sound is so much better then any laptop/notebook I have used at this price.

Just got this laptop 3 days ago, and has stayed close to me anywhere I am since then -- the long 3 weeks of waiting paid off. Its thin, its light, and its just doing a great a job at handling any task I throw at it.
I didnt experience any issues reported by some of them here. I dont play games. I currently use this for work and for photo/video editing and so far, so good.
